Scholarships
EWI of Oklahoma City proudly offers an ASIST scholarship program to help qualified adult students achieve their academic goals. Our chapter has developed their own criteria regarding deadlines, areas of limitation, eligible schools, and partner agencies. Applicants must live within 50 miles of their local Chapter boundary to be eligible.
The 2026 ASIST scholarship portal has closed. We will reopen next year's scholarship application portal in early 2027.
Adult Students in Scholastic Transition
The ASIST scholarship is available to adults facing economic, social, or physical challenges, who are looking to improve their situation through educational opportunities.
Local Chapters partner with educational providers and social services agencies to identify potential candidates. EWI Oklahoma City Chapter applicants must live in one of the following counties Canadian, Cleveland, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, or Pottawatomie.
Chapter-level winners are submitted to the Corporate level for the opportunity to be selected for one of 13 scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000.

Literacy Initiatives
Reading Rally
Reading Rally events are one of the ways EWI of Oklahoma City promotes literacy and learning in the community. As part of EWI’s ongoing literacy campaign, the Oklahoma City Chapter will host an annual Reading Rally in fall 2026 for children in the Oklahoma City metro area.
